Carl Edward Lomax, age 82 of Hohenwald, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2020, at AHC Lewis County.

He was born to Jesse Paul Lomax and Lassie (Sharp) Lomax on September 1, 1938, in Lewis County. Carl married Letha Mathis and they resided in Hohenwald. He worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation until his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Claude (Michelle) Lomax of Hohenwald; two sisters, Wilma (L.C.) Bowen and Betty (Wiley) Carroll of Hohenwald; five grandchildren, Cody, Michael, Chantel, Felicia, and Mandy; and three great-grandchildren.
