The Lewis County School System will accept applications for:

PARAPROFESSIONAL (FORMER TITLE -EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT)

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Applicant is required to meet one of the following qualifications outlined in the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001/ESSA act of 2015.

▪ Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education

▪ Have an associates or higher degree; or

▪ Must pass a test that demonstrates the competencies outlined in No Child Left Behind. This test will be given upon offer of intent of employment.

Applications are available at http://www.lewisk12.org or the Lewis County Board of Education office, 206 South Court Street, Hohenwald, TN 38462. Materials received by fax will not be accepted.
