David Lewis Whitehead, age 71 of Hohenwald, passed away January 10, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.

He was born February 28, 1949 to the late Jesse James and Edna Riley Whitehead in Hohenwald at the Boyce Clinic.

Mr. Whitehead proudly served in the United States Army before retiring after twenty years of dedicated service.

In his spare time, David enjoyed woodworking, reading western novels and gardening. He is well known in Hohenwald for his vast knowledge of Lewis County. He was part of the historical society and was always the go to for answers to questions about the...
