Director Pace gives commission update on new high school

Tornado sirens blared at the beginning of this month’s County Commission meeting, held on Monday at the Courthouse. Commissioners checked their radar and continued with the meeting as planned.
Co-chairman Brian Peery filled in for County Mayor Jonah Keltner as he was absent due to illness. Commissioners Robert Brewer and Jason Fite were also absent for the meeting.
Shortly after giving the commission an update on the school system’s finanical standing, Director of Schools Benny Pace was proud to announce that the plans for the new high school may finally come to fruition.
