Gregory Keith "Monkey" Baker, age 59 of Hohenwald, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by some of his closest friends.

He was born in Hohenwald on December 21, 1961 to the late J.P. Baker & Delphine (Staggs) Baker.

Monkey, as everyone called him, never met a stranger and was one of the kindest men ever. His profession allowed him to meet and speak to numerous people in Hohenwald, many of whom he became friends with. He worked for the USPS as a mail carrier for 12 years before becoming disabled.
