The weather has taken us back to winter with temperatures even during the day not above the mid thirties. Although the early spring flowers are blooming or at least budding, there was a little snow in areas where the cold or wind dried the leaves on Sunday morning following the rains on Saturday night and was cold all day. The weather people are calling for extreme cold for this area the last of the week and the next several days; that will really affect the heat bills or the need for more wood to add to the fires. Hope you stay warm and don’t get sick during these cold spells.

It seems that this year is speeding by and not long ago was 2020. I guess the older you get, the faster time seems to travel. It seems that way to me and I am sure others share my sentiment. I think we all are praying for an end to the virus, which has caused so much suffering and death and even quarantine from family members in our area. We read in history where there were epidemics that caused even more havoc than this but we did not go through them. I guess some day if the world stands, there will be others that will read about this time and things that happened and wonder how we endured it. The fact is that we do exactly like those before us and keep on going.
I pray that your family will be blessed with happiness and good health during the coming days and times. Remember those who are shut-in and call or send cards to them. It really brightens their day to know that someone cares.
