One Day At A Time

February 11, 2021

Well, it’s a cold wintry morning. I have my hot coffee and a good warm fire going. The house is so comfortable. The cats are snuggled back in their bed on the porch for a long winter cat nap. And I’m watching for the snow. I guess we all still have that little kid in us that wants a big snow. I love to see it snow. There are a lot of birds in the yard. I also see a couple of deer and even a few squirrels. They are all eating together peacefully, nobody is arguing, fussing or fighting. Just quiet and content eating together. Who said animals are dumb? Watching our leaders act, it must have been a human that said that!

Well covid is still bad. Some people say it has slowed down a little. But people are still sick, worried and afraid, and having a lot of problems and still struggling to get by. God said don’t be afraid. But we are just human. I am trying not to be afraid and I am praying now more than I ever have. I think that is what God wants us to do.

Well back to the warm fire, hot coffee and a yard full of peaceful animals and peace here in our little valley. I hear the neighbor’s old John Deere tractor. He is taking hay to feed his cattle and they know the sound of his tractor and they know it is feeding time and they are following him.

Well, I’m just taking one day at a time. Trusting and believing that God still has it all under control and He is the light at the end of the tunnel.

God bless.
