Landon Cicero

Landon Joseph Cicero, 13, resident of Overhead Bridge Road in the Hampshire Community, died Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Jim O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Born August 13, 2007 in Williamson County, he was the son of John Dominick Cicero and Karen Janette Wooten. He was in the 7th grade at Hampshire Unit School and had attended Lewis County Schools from Kindergarten through 6th grade, where he was in the band and played saxophone. Landon enjoyed hunting, fishing and was very active with Boy Scout Troop 154. Dreaming of becoming a Forensic Scientist, Landon especially loved Science. He attended Grace Church of the Nazarene and Journey Biker Church.

In addition to his mother, Karen Janette Wooten of Hampshire; and father, John Dominick Cicero (Sherry Cates) of Culleoka, survivors include his siblings, John Paul (Haley) Cicero, Matthew Barry, Alan Barry, Sherry Lynn (Wesley) Barnes; maternal grandfather, Johnny N. Wooten; paternal grandfather, Jack Foit; aunts and uncles, Doug Wooten, Wayne (Karen) Wooten, Sue (Dean) Augustine, Michael (Crystal) Cicero, Cindy (Donald Clute) Cicero; nieces and nephews, Wyatt Cicero, Charlotte Cicero, Emmaleigh Barnes; cousins, Sara Wooten, Laura Wooten, R.J. (Jessica) Rodgers, Jason (Kim) Owen, Brandy (Danny) Varga; and beloved dog, Sam.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Shirley Ann Wooten; and paternal grandmother, Nancy Foit.

Active pallbearers will be John Paul Cicero, Matthew Barry, Alan Barry, Doug Wooten, Wayne Wooten, Mike Jag, Jared Carter, and John Frydenlund. Honorary pallbearers include Boy Scout Troop 154.
