Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Enoch Jr., Claude, Willard "Buddy" and Jerry Whitehead, and her sisters, Maggie Rosson, Martha James, Edith James, Eva Head, and Anne Archer.

A private graveside service was held for the immediate family. McDonald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Downey Cemetery Fund or the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund.
