Mr. Sidney Roy Tompkins, age 76 of Hohenwald, passed away on February 17, 2021 at Maury Regional with his wife by his side. He was born in Presque Isle, Maine on June 17, 1944 to the late Leon and Elsie Green Tompkins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia (Alcide) Carney.

On January 10, 1970, he married his soulmate, Nancy Case, and during their 51 years of marriage they enjoyed many family camping trips. Sid enjoyed anything outdoors from bird hunting, to fishing, to piddling in his shop. Some evenings he would settle in and enjoy a classic western movie...
