Dear Editor,

The United States is not a Democracy, it is a Republic.

When asked what kind of country we have, Benjamin Franklin said, “A Republic, if you can keep it.”

Our Pledge of Allegiance states, “and to the Republic for which it stands.”

Most of our federal politicians and ‘bureau-rats’ only have allegiance to themselves and their love of money.

Teddy Roosevelt said, “It is absolutely impossible for a Republic long to endure if it becomes either corrupt or cowardly.” The Democrats (Socialists) are corrupt, and the Republicans (Rinos) are cowardly.
