A single vehicle accident occurred on Thursday, February 25, when Dresden Barnes was driving his 2011 Nissan Sentra northbound on Waynesboro Highway and crossed over into the southbound lane.
The vehicle then went into the ditch, struck a tree and rotated before coming to a stop, facing the roadway.
State Trooper Tommy Bayless and Sgt. Bosheers responded to the wreck along with Constable David McRight and Sheriff Department Deputy Nick Reeves.
Barnes was transported to Maury Regional with non-life-threatening injuries....
