Pruitt Hyatt, 97, of Hohenwald passed away on Sunday, March 14th, 2021, at his home. He was born on August 15, 1923, to Howard A. Dewberry and Nina Hyatt, in Lawrence County. He served in World War II in the United States Marine Corp.

He was married to the love of his life, Joanne (Hinson) Hyatt, and they lived a long and happy life together. He was a professional barber in Columbia for many years until his retirement. He and Joanne were members of the Baptist Church in Hohenwald.
