The Lewis County High School Panthers baseball team hosted the Hampshire Hawks to open the 2021 baseball season at LCHS.

Maddox Cagle took the mound to start for the Panthers and worked around a 1-out double to pitch a scoreless first. A one-out double by Brody Whitlow and a walk to Slade Moseley put runners on the bases, and a pair of stolen bases and a pair of passed balls plated both before the inning came to an end and the Panthers led 2-0.
