Mr. Gary Thomas Dotson 74 unexpectedly passed away at his Hohenwald residence on the evening of March 25, 2021. Mr. Dotson was born in Nashville to the late Thelma Walker on October 12, 1946.

Mr. Dotson enjoyed being outdoors, often visiting the rivers for some bass fishing, or heading to the woods for hunting. Though recently he has not been able to, he had a passion for leather work. He often produced beautiful one of a kind leather belts and accessories. The detail put into each individual piece showcased his talents.

Gary is survived by his daughter Megan Dotson of Hendersonville; two granddaughters Alexis McGuffie and Morgan Loftis; as well as a host of friends that were more like family to him.

A graveside service was held Monday, March 29, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
