The owner of the Shadow Acres Motel flew from overseas to come before the Lewis County Solid Waste Committee on Monday night, asking to have her business lowered to another commercial fee level.

She told the committee, comprised of Commissioners Allison Tanner, Doug Jobbitt, Wendell Kelley, Jim Grinder, Larry Hensley and Bill Dyer, she had gone from paying $180 per year to $2,000 which she believed to be unreasonable.
