Graveside services for Samuel Meece Cathey were held at 1:30 p.m. April 3 at Memory Gardens in Centerville. Mr. Cathey passed away on March 28.
He was born June 16, 1935, to the late Thomas B. and Margaret Ghant Cathey in Lewis County and lived most of his life in the Mobley Ridge/Center Star Community of Hickman County.
He spent the majority of his adult life as a construction worker and a farmer at home.
His favorite pastimes were his love for gardening and fishing.
He was always a faithful Christian, loving husband, father, and grandfather.
