April is Child Abuse Prevention Month; Planting a Pinwheel Garden symbolizes a commitment to protecting children. The pinwheel is an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures that all children deserve.

In celebrating happy healthy children and promoting child abuse prevention, Lewis County Schools Pre-K, Family Resource Center, Parent Teacher Organization, and Child Help Task Force (CAB) are working together to promote child abuse awareness. Pinwheels were provided by the local CAB to plant a pinwheel garden at school.
