In April, Neighbors of the Buffalo removed some trees from the Buffalo River Blueway near their properties to help make it safer for kayakers and canoeists using the river.
While floating the Buffalo is a tremendous outdoor experience, there are drownings and injuries each year involving obstructions in the water, said Neighbors of the Buffalo spokesman Austin Carroll.
