Eighth grader, Shawn Grinder, was awarded student of the week. He was nominated by Mrs. Collison. She said, Shawn has made so much progress academically and she is proud of his growth. He is always courteous and helpful to teachers as well as other students.

Austin King, seventh grader, was nominated by Mrs. Tiller for student of the week. Mrs. Tiller said Austin is one of the most respectful and well mannered students. His gentle nature and kindness is hard to miss. She encourages Austin to continue to let his light shine.

Mrs. Duncan nominated seventh grader, Lucas Nay, for student of the week. She said Lucas is one of the kindest students I have ever taught. He always buys snacks for students who do not have money to buy them. He also paid for several students who did not have money for the talent show without asking for them to pay him back. He is simply a genuinely kind and generous young man.
