Shelby Green wins state championship

Armuchee High School student, Shelby Green, won the 1A State Championship in the 1600 run on May 13, 2021 at Hugh Mills Stadium in Rome, Georgia. She was also part of a 4x800 relay team who won state as well.
Shelby is the daughter of Josh and Jessica Green, the granddaughter of Tammi Medford and the great-granddaughter of Gene Medford and Marilyn Baker.
