TRUCK VS FIRE PLUG - First responders were called out Friday night, May 21, around 9 p.m. to a crash on Hinson Street. They found a pickup in the ditch line with water gushing from underneath. Hohenwald Fire and Rescue, Maury Regional Emergency Medical, Hohenwald Police and City of Hohenwald Water Department personel arrived to find Brady Pace, of Hohenwald, had driven off the roadway in his 1989 Toyota while travelling west on Smith Avenue, and struck a fire hydrant at the intersection with Hinson Street.
