Elks Lodge volunteers and kids who played the "It's a Kick" Soccer Shoot.

Lewis County Elks hosted a Soccer Shoot "It's A Kick", in combination with the Lewis County Soccer Club end of spring season awards day Saturday May 22, 2021.

Two contests were held. The Five Goal Contest for U-8 ages 7 and under and Grid Goal Contest for U-10 thru U-16 ages 8 to 15. Participation certificates and medals were given to all who entered.

In the Five Goal Contest first place trophy went to Natalie Pitts. Second place trophies were awarded to Hunley Sharp and Rambo Stoner who tied, and third place went to Ava Barclay.

Rambo Stoner, second place; Natalie Pitts, first place; Ava Barclay, third place; and Hunley Sharp who tied with Stoner for second.

The Grid Goal contest had a tie for 1st place with Jackson Lewis and Rylynn Wade in the U9/10 division. First place in U11/U12 was a tie between Liam Carroll and Aaron Gomez. U13/U16 first place trophy was received by Kainen Pitts and second went to Cole Spann.

The volunteers on Saturday were: Dillon Davenport, Audrey Davenport, Allison Davenport, Cole Spann, Bethyne Smith, EmmaLeigh Smith, Trinity Anderson, Braden Brewer, John and Courtney Fellers, Derrick and Heather Staggs, all on behalf of the Soccer Club, and Tammy Morey, Ken Humphries, D'Ann Walmsley, Brandy Bennett, and Crystal Morey on behalf of the Lewis County Elks Lodge #2883.

Walton Dunn of the Elks prepared BBQ and the other lodge members provided hot dogs, chips, and drinks to combine with sides from the Soccer Club to enjoy a picnic style dinner after the event. The soccer club hosted a bonfire to wrap up the evening after several giveaways!

The Elks were honored by the Soccer Club with a thank you plaque for the lodge.
