Lewis Health Center mammography program earns accreditation

 


Mammography services at Lewis Health Center (LHC) have been awarded a renewed three-year term of accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Mammography is an imaging exam that uses low-dose X-ray to scan the breast area for any abnormality, including the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. LHC recently went through a comprehensive review process by the ACR to ensure its mammography program meets nationally-accepted standards of care.
