Hello! It is Raylee Baker again for this week's scoop on June Dairy Month.
This week we visited Flower's Creamery in Ethridge. It was pretty cool! While at the creamery we were able to see and learn about the milk holding tanks, the milking machine, and the cows' homemade feed.
We got to visit and say hello to the Holsteins, and even got to pet some dairy calves. At Flower's Creamery they have Holstein and Jersey dairy cows.
Holstein cows are like the Chick-Fil-A ad cows and are black and white. Jersey cows are brown/red and look like they have eyeliner on all the time.
How cute! Visiting Flower's Creamery was an awesome experience, and I totally recommend you making the trip there. Make sure you try some of their awesome homemade dairy products before you leave!
