June 29, 1959 - June 8, 2021

Mrs. Betty Jolene (Burns) Averett, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born in Nashville on June 29, 1959 to the late Clarence Burns & Lula Mae (Quillen) Burns.

Mrs. Averett worked for the Hohenwald Housing Authority for many years as the resident coordinator.

She is survived by her daughter, Allyson Averett; considered a sister (cousin), Lisa Harlow; and granddogs, Cooper and Lily.

Visitation with the family was held on Friday, June 11 at the McDonald Funeral Home. A graveside service followed in the Swiss Cemetery.
