Lewis County Public Library and Archives upcoming events

 


The following activities are scheduled for the upcoming week at Lewis County Public Library and Archives:

• Tween Reading Club, Thursday, June 24, 4 p.m. Tweens who are reading between an intermediate and middle school level can join us to read Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary together.

• Friends of the Library Book Sale, Thursday, June 24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friends of the Library are bringing back the last Thursday of the month book sales. All proceeds from book sales benefit the library.

• Elephant Tails, Friday, June 25, 10 a.m. The Elephant Sanctuary will be teaching us about some of the tallest tails around.

• Summer Tuesday Morning Story Time, Tuesday, June 29, 10 a.m. Join us for a morning of animal-themed stories and songs geared for pre-school and early elementary students.

• Tween Reading Club, Thursday, July 1, 4 p.m. Tweens who are reading between an intermediate and middle school level can join us to read Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary together.

• Community Concert, Friday, July 2, 5:30 p.m. Family fun in Hohenwald City Parking Lot with water slides, face painting, food trucks and more. 7:30 p.m. Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute in concert open to the public. Please bring your own seating. Fireworks will follow the concert.
