Lewis County Public Library and Archives had a special guest come to story time on Tuesday June 15, 2021. Derrick Staggs, Rodney Roden, Jonathan Bledsoe and Smokey the Bear with the Tennessee Forestry Department shared Smokey's story and the importance of fire safety. Attendees had the opportunity to ask fire safety questions and get their picture with Smokey and his friends!

The library's next family event is Elephant Tails with The Elephant Sanctuary on Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m.
