Carl Richard McNabb

June 18, 1956 - June 12, 2021

Carl Richard McNabb, age 64, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by family. Carl was born June 18, 1956, in Hampshire to the late Clearance and Allie McNabb.

Carl grew up in Hampshire and had seven brothers and sisters. Carl was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was his family and spending time with his grandbabies. He never met a stranger. Carl was a jack of all trades and loved to work on everyone's vehicles and tractors. If it could be fixed, he would be the one to fix it. Didn't matter if he knew you or not, he would be the first to jump in and give the helping hand. Carl worked for TAP driving a truck until he became disabled. Even though he was disabled from his work he never disabled himself from his family or his outdoor activities. Carl is deeply loved by all and will forever be missed.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Elmer and Thomas McNabb.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Donna McNabb; children, Richard McNabb (Bitty McNabb), Carl-Ray McNabb, Michael Tanner (Casey Tanner), Michelle Claiborne (Jeff Claiborne), Matt Tanner, Donnie Sims, and Charity Anderson (Elmo Anderson); 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe McNabb, Freddie McNabb, Stella Runions, Peggy McNabb and Ann Chapman; and multiple nieces and nephews.
