On June 22, 2021 the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and Lewis County Fire Department responded to 282 Joe Avenue in reference to a possible house fire.

Responding units observed smoke coming from the residence. As Lewis County Sheriff's Department Patrol Deputies Dustin Carroll and Trevor Osborne arrived, a white female was encountered that made incriminating statements about the origin of the fire. The white female, identified as Allie A. Allen, 24, was detained pending investigation.
