On June 26, 2021, Russell "Joe" Josiah Curtis, 67, passed away at Maury Regional at the age of 67.

He was born in Charlston, Missouri on November 22, 1953 to the late Leonard Franklin and Edith Nevada Haygood Curtis. Joe was a very caring and giving soul. It was fitting that he was a barber in that he helped the people of Lewis County feel and look better after time in his chair.
