James "Jim" Clyde Webb Jr.

James "Jim" Clyde Webb, Jr., passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the age of 70.

Jim was born on June 29, 1951, to James Clyde Webb, Sr. and Elsie Louise (Tatum) Webb at the Boyce Clinic in Hohenwald. He was a member of the Hohenwald First Assembly of God and a faithful Christian. He was a dedicated family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and family dearly. He enjoyed living life on his farm. He was known to be a wonderful artist, guitar player, singer, and comedian. He served his country with the US Air Force, Army, and National Guard for many years until his retirement.

He leaves behind his wife, Connie Peters Webb; children, Gregory Webb, Joshua (Jennifer) Webb, and Amanda (Terry) Barnes; siblings, Bill (Nancetta) Webb, Tim (Jessica) Webb, and Judy Burton; grandchildren, Trenton Barnes, Abbie Barnes, Kaleb Barnes, Evan Webb, Jon Webb, Samuel Webb, Emmaline Webb; brother-in-law, Bobby Peters; aunt, Betty Love (Bobby); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Webb; and his siblings, Paul Webb, Alice Hill, Martha Gramling; and his wife's parents, Ernest & Velma Peters .

Visitation with the family was held Friday, July 9 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m., in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Webb and Justin Osborne officiating. Burial followed in Himes Cemetery.
