Large donation of movies to Lewis County Public Library and Archives

Glenda and Brenda Talley recently donated a large collection of over 300 movies to the Lewis County Public Library and Archives to honor the memory of Leonard Talley. With large donations like this, the library determines what items can be used to enhance the library’s collection. Happily, many of this particular donation have been added to the video collection.

The items from this donation, and other similar donations that the library hasn’t added, will be available for purchase at the Friends of the Library book sale on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. If this month’s book sale goes by too fast, don’t worry! The last Thursday of each month, barring holidays, will be book sale days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Funds raised at these sales help support the library.
