Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve holds fourth Bass Tournament of the year

 


Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve held their fourth bass tournament of the year at Chief Creek Lake on Saturday, July 10, 2021. There were a total of 46 boats, 86 anglers and 84 fish caught totaling 81.88 pounds.

Anglers in the top 30 from Lewis County were: Matt Carroll and Miles Staggs, second place, catching five fish weighing 6.10 pounds; and Ronnie Staggs and Kane Dillon, 19th place, catching two fish weighing 1.78 pounds.

The next tournament is planned for Saturday, August 14 with gates opening at 4 a.m.
