Buffalo River Rampage Returns August 7 at Resort

August 5, 2021

The Buffalo River Rampage will be back on Saturday, August 7, 2021—after missing a year due to COVID-19—at Buffalo River Resort on the banks of the county’s scenic stream.

The event, which features multiple competitions and over $2,000 in cash prizes, is presented by FirstBank and the Perry County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the resort at 3520 Highway 13 North, Lobelville

The Rampage includes the crowd favorite duck race. Sponsor a rubber duck with a $5 donation.

The 2021 Rampage features a five-mile home-made raft race that begins at 9:00 a.m. Entry fee for each three-person team is $65. Inner-tube flotation only on your creative rafts.

Kayakers will compete in an eight-mile race on the Buffalo beginning at 11:30 a.m., immediately following the duck race. Entry fee is $25 per person.

At 1:00 p.m., try your skills in a Cornhole Tourney—entry fee of $25 per team—with a winner-take-all cash prize.

Concessions by Perry County Middle School Football (Lobelville and Linden) in cooperation with Smoke N’ Willies.
