Covid-19 has resurged in Lewis County

Lewis County currently has 97 active cases of Covid-19 as of Monday, August 9, 2021, according to data from the Tennessee Department of Health. In mid-July, there were only four active cases.
From July 26, 2021, to August 8, 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health reported that Lewis County had a daily rate of 7.2 new cases of Covid-19 per day on average. From July 12 to July 25, just fourteen days prior, the average was 1.9 new cases, showing a resurgence of Covid-19 has begun.
