Members of the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund gathered together on Thursday, August 19, 2021, to honor one of their founding members, the late David Barnes who passed away while battling cancer.
Barnes played a key role in the not-for-profit as a long-time board member. He even helped to found the group and get it off the ground with Sandra Thompson, Coach Eugene Grinder and David Lowery.
The group wore special-made t-shirts for the organization that featured a design Barnes had made himself, the tree of helping hands.
