Thomas Rasbury, born June 27, 1934 to the late Clyde Rasbury and Marie Graves in Wayne County, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, August 24, 2021 at NHC Maury Regional at the age of 87.

Mr. Rasbury graduated from Wayne County High School, served in the United States Army and graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor's degree. In 1959 he married the love of his life, Melba Rasbury, someone he loved dearly, and longed to be with after her passing in 2019. He and his wife were devout members of the Kimmins Church of Christ.

He is survived by step-daughter, Patricia (Michael) Turnbow of Signal Mountain; sister, Willodean Weldon; two grandchildren, Scott and Danielle Turnbow; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening, August 27 at the McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Rasbury were Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald. Burial followed in the Brown Cemetery on Cathey's Creek in Hampshire.
