The Lewis County High School Panthers football team travelled to Lyles on Friday night, September 3rd for action against the East Hickman Eagles.

It was the Panthers defense that provided the first points of the night when Lincoln Brewer picked up an Eagle fumble and sprinted 50 yards for the scoop and score. Blake Carroll added the two-point run conversion to give the Panthers an 8-0 lead.

Just seconds into the second quarter the Eagles found the endzone on a two-yard run by McClain Creary and the point after made the score 8-7 Lewis County. Less than a minute later, Lewis County's Blake Carroll broke free on a 64-yard touchdown run and added the PAT to give the Panthers a 15-7 lead.
