Mrs. Irene Baker Hinson, 71 of Hohenwald, passed away Wednesday September 8, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Irene was born in Russellville, Alabama on January 17, 1950, to the late Sam and Flossie Hinson Baker. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hinson and several brothers.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her children, Sherry (Tony) Grippi, Wayne (Tina) Spencer, Mary Whitehead (Troy Baker), and Tommy Lee; grandchildren, Anthony Grippi, Robert Grippi, Harley Spencer, Preston Spencer, and Brandon Whitehead; her sister, Lorene Nance; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends was Friday, September 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services. Funeral services were at 2:00 pm with burial following at Swiss Cemetery.
