The varsity Lady Panthers fell behind in the first set of the match to the Lady Stallions. The Lady Stallions denied any opportunity for the Lady Panthers to gain momentum in the opening and pulled away to a 25-13 set win. After a break the Lady Stallions continued to show dominance, again hitting the home team with a barrage of point-runs on their way to building a big lead and taking the second set of varsity play by a score of 25-13 and winning the varsity match 2-0.

The junior varsity Lady Panthers played two strong sets against South Lawrence's JV team. In the opening junior varsity set the Lady Stallions jumped out in front early, but the Lady Panthers fought hard before ultimately falling in the opening set by a score of 25-18. The Lady Panthers were able to build on their finish in the opening JV set and matched the Lady Stallions point for point throughout the second set.
