LCHS Recognized by the State

 

September 30, 2021

Lewis County High School was recently named a Rewards School which means that, based on testing data for the school year 2020-2021, LCHS was in the top five percent for academic achievement and in the top five percent for student growth.

The title was designated by the Tennessee Department of Education. Their website stated, "In accordance with Tennessee's accountability system, as well as federal and state law, the Tennessee Department of Education names schools that are excelling as well as those who need additional support." By their standards, LCHS has been declared an excelling school.
