Main line fiber construction is currently underway in rural Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties for Meriwether Lewis Connect. The goal is to be doing in-home/business installations of fast, affordable, reliable broadband in all areas of Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative’s service area by the end of 2022.

“Weather, demand, covid’s impact on labor and equipment availability, as well as other uncontrollable factors may slow our progress,” says MLEC President and CEO Keith Carnahan, “but we’re committed to not stopping until every MLEC member has the option for service.”
