December 11, 1956 ~ September 27, 2021

On Monday September 27, 2021, Ms. Rebecca Lynn Atwood Staggs left this earthly world unexpectedly at the age of 64. She was born in Liberty, TX on December 11, 1956, to Ms. Mildred Searcy Atwood and the late Arthur Albert Atwood. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Mr. Hobert Staggs. Ms. Staggs was an LPN in Perry County for many years before retiring and enjoying the quiet times.

Becky loved being in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Recently she took up the hobby of Kayaking and recently purchased her own kayak to enjoy days on the river. She put her heart into everything task at hand. On more quiet days she enjoyed tending to her flower garden and spending time with her dog midnight.

Ms. Staggs is survived by her daughters Stephanie Fitch and Crystals Staggs; grandchildren Timothy Earl Mercer, Jessie Lee Farmer, Lislie Marie Farmer, Troy Alan Fitch, and Breonna Kristine Fitch. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her nine siblings Hattie Mae Ewart, Bobby Lynn Atwood, Mary Elaine Leigh, David Vernon Atwood, Johnny Darryl Anderson, Tammy Diane Mcleaned, Shelley Renee Simmons, Belinda Lea Cummings, and Michael Searcy Jr.

Visitation with family and friends was held Wednesday September 29, 2021, in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral services followed at 12:00.

Ms. Staggs' wishes were to be cremated following her funeral service.
