This past week was wet most days and that made it hard for those who wanted to enjoy the October Festival activities that were going on in and around town. There were lots of yard sales and a car show with vintage vehicles which looked new for they were in great condition and taken care of and kept indoors, along with many other activities including many music performances. Hope it didn’t dampen your spirits as you made your way around the area. The wind today has been really hard and there are limbs, twigs and debris all over the yards and roads. Right now there are no trees down but could be and one thing for sure you don’t have to worry about your hair for it is blowing everywhere.

Those I know of who are sick either at home or nursing facility or in the hospitals are: G.Y. Bennett, Connie Bonner, Dorothy Brown (fell and broke her hip but is doing well following surgery), Amy Carroll, Joann Carroll, Kathleen Carroll, Spencer Clark, Fada Clay, Bailey Cromwell, Monica Dupont (having problems with her arthritis), Tommy Edwards, Buffy Farnsworth, Monette King, Colben Ly, Linda Mercer, Greg McCann, Jackie McFall, Bill Moore, Colene Rasbury, Shirley Reeves, Roger Risner, Woodow Ross, Marsha Runions, Mona Runions, Nell Skelton, Wayne Tiller, Jim and Jan Walker, Diane White, and Annette Williams. Please pray for these in your daily prayers that they might be better and also for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Eden Stutts the 10th, Kaitlin Mears the 13th, Randall Hinson, Jeanea Warf, Selina Young, and Nicole Flippo the 15th, Baylee Clayton the 16th, Dana Carroll, Jeremy Carroll, and Kevin Haigh the 17th, Brett Cole Odom and Mary Ann Whitehead the 20th, and Tammy Stutts and Judy Bennett on the 21st. May all these have a very special day and enjoy celebrating their birthday

Happy anniversary to Ricky and Helen Akridge the 19th, and to Darrell and Diana Runions the 21st. We wish for them a very happy anniversary and many more years to celebrate life together.
