On the morning of October 8, 2021, Lanny Doyle Brewer peacefully passed away at AHC McNairy.

He was born in Hohenwald to the late Chester Leon and Mary Lee Anderson Brewer on January 6, 1951. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammy and Billy Brewer.

Coming from humble beginnings, Lanny went to work at Dana Corporation and as a part time mechanic at the Honda Cycle shop after graduating from high school. After retiring from Dana, Lanny opened Brewer's Carpet on Main Street and kept the coffee brewed daily for over 25 years. There were few days that went by wh...
