I guess fall is really here now with the temperatures dropping into the upper thirties and low forties for the last few nights. I hope nothing got frosted on that you wanted to protect. The leaves are really falling and need to be swept from the patio and yard daily or at least weekly. The wild animals are moving more, and I even saw a small skunk that was almost solid black the other evening. There were about 30 or more turkeys in the bottom this morning and the deer have even been moving some. The colors on the trees are brilliant as you look around the wooded areas and see all the colors and the evergreen trees mixed among them.

Those I know of who are sick either at home or nursing facility or in the hospitals are: G.Y. Bennett, Connie Bonner, Dorothy Brown (who fell), Amy Carroll, Joann Carroll, Kathleen Carroll, Spencer Clark, Fada Clay, Bailey Cromwell, Monica Dupont, Tommy Edwards, Buffy Farnsworth, Monette King, Colben Ly, Linda Mercer, Greg McCann, Jackie McFall, Bill Moore, Colene Rasbury, Shirley Reeves, Roger Risner, Woodrow Ross, Marsha Runions, Mona Runions, Bill Seiber (had to have a pacemaker put in and is now home recovering), Nell Skelton, Wayne Tiller, Jim and Jan Walker, Diane White, and Annette Williams. Please pray for these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Johnny Edwards, McKala Carroll, Shirley Reeves and Cheyenne Collins the 22nd, Burrell Brown and Lexie Carroll the 23rd, Jim Walker and Haven Carrees the 24th, Melissa Grinder and Joann Carroll the 26th, and Ronnie Carroll the 28th. May all these have a very special day and enjoy celebrating their birthday.

Happy anniversary to Gary and Norma Beard the 25th. We wish them a happy anniversary and many more years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones: Ronnie L. Frazier, Caden Charles Blood, Carol Faye Henderson Miller, Geneva Rader, Jeanne Brown, Anita Diane Elkins, Gloria June Woods, Susan Elizabeth Hardy, Sara Lou Elam, Shirley Faye Talley Clayborn, Gloria Dawn Martin, Stanley Kevin Younger, Joseph Allen Tidwell, Elaine Shelton Wherry, Peggy Marie Goins, and Brenda Joyce Rhodes. Prayers for all these families and any others that we may not know about.

Please remember those who are sick and shut-in and if possible, visit with them, but if you cannot go please remember them with a phone call or card. It always makes people happy to know that someone cares for them. We need to consider what it would be like to be shut-in and especially quarantined, and no one show interest in us. To me this would be a terrible thing to endure. Part of the healing process is to be able to have family and friends around us and it has to be terrible to be away from family for long periods of time.

Wishing for everyone a very happy week and coming weeks as we are nearing the end of another year. It seems it was only yesterday that we celebrated the new year and now we are getting close to the end of this year. Praying for each and every one to have a blessed week and enjoy the world around us that God has created for us to enjoy.
