MLEC employees participate in service projects in five counties

Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative employees in each of its five counties took part in the Tennessee Electric Co-op Day of Service on October 21.

Collectively, employees supported local food pantries and other community outreach by donating more than 1400 pounds of food. Additionally, Humphreys County employees donated 500 books to help rebuild school libraries for Waverly Elementary and Junior High lost in August flooding.
