LCHS Class of 1961 donates to library fund

The Lewis County High School Class of 1961 recently made a $1,001 donation towards the expansion and renovation project at the library to honor those in their class that have passed. Pictured, from left, class representative Charles Talley, library director Crystal Nash, and Joan Talley.

Visitors to the library during Friends of the Library Week (October 19 - 23) enjoyed many treats and surprises throughout the week, including many incentives to donate toward the expansion and renovation project. Some visiting members of LCHS Class of 1961 during the week were inspired to take up a collection for this project from their fellow classmates. Class representative Charles Talley, with his wife Joan, presented a check to library director Crystal Nash for $1,001 to honor those in their class that have passed.
