Oneal Barber passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 75. He was born July 18, 1946 in Perry County to the late Onis Barber and Nancy Mercer.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a self-employed brick mason.

He is survived by sons, Chris Gibson and Neal Barber; daughters, Teresa Zencuch and Le Ann Hankins; step-son, Chad Cothran; step-daughter, Lisa Fransen; brother, Coy Barber, sisters, Jewel Hinson and Joyce Rector; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
